Thankfulness and Gratitude

Well I don't think a few minutes would be enough for it. We should be thankful for the good things, big and small, in our life.

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” —Robert Brault

We get so caught up in the everyday stress and drama that we forget how thankful we should be for all we have! In the hustle of to-do lists and work deadlines, sometimes it’s (too) easy to block out the details of the day, forgetting that each and every day holds precious gifts. From the air we breathe to the friendships we hold close, there is always something to be thankful for.

"Whatever we are waiting for - peace of mind, contentment, grace, the inner awareness of simple abundance - it will surely come to us, but only when we are ready to receive it with an open and grateful heart". (Sarah Ban Breathnach)

It's easy to get negative because you get beat down. You go through a few disappointments and it's easy to stay in that negative frame of mind. Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is a whole cliche, but your attitude is going to determine how you're going to live your life. Joel Osteen
